When using your contact management software to pull contact information, Prophet provides a layout that appears to be two screens split horizontally through the center. This is a common design among many CRM software choices, and it provides added ease and organization. When you select a contact on the contact management software the upper screen will provide constant details of the name and contact information while the lower screen changes to provide requested information. The information available for users to request is found on the tabs in the center of the window: General, Contact Notes, Opportunities, Activities, Contact Files and Sales Automation.
Users can store an unlimited number of contacts in the CRM system. For each contact you have the ability to add notes, view sales opportunities, pull a list of all interaction that has taken places with a particular client, and attach files to their name. Prophet doesn’t currently provide a way for you to store specific links for each contact to view company websites or social networking pages.
Prophet contact management software provides ways for users to track their company's sales activity – both for the sales team as a whole and for individual salespeople. You can also use the software to create a variety of reports that can be useful visual aids in company meetings.. Within the CRM system, Prophet provides a tool that will allow you to view and edit specific information regarding sales opportunities including: the progress it has made through your company deal cycle, anticipated revenue and expected date to close. Each contact involved with the sale is linked to the opportunity in addition to all of their information such as activities, notes and files.
The Opportunities window is broken into three different areas which will allow you to access all of the vital information you need in one well-designed, organized window. The top area will provide the company and contacts name, the middle area will provide opportunity information and the bottom area will provide sales-related information attached to each contact. You can search your sales opportunities according to stage, company and type.
Using Prophet contact management software is fairly simple for those who currently use Microsoft Outlook. Near the top of your Outlook account underneath the heading “Folder List,” found on the left-hand side of your window, is a folder labeled “Avidian Prophet.” It is in this folder that you can find all features and tools available via the CRM software. The three options available are Contact Manager, Opportunity Manager and Report Manager. Tools appropriate for each area are found within the folders and once clicked on are easy to access and simple to use. We appreciated the clean design of Avidian’s Prophet CRM software; it's intuitive to navigate and simple to use.
There are several ways to contact Avidian Technologies regarding your Prophet CRM software. Located at the top right-hand corner of the Prophet CRM software website is a Contact Us link attached to a phone number. By clicking on either the telephone number or the Contact Us link, you will be navigated directly to Avidian’s contact information. There are two sections: existing customers and prospective customers. Each section has a toll-free telephone number and an option for email. In addition to those options the existing customers also have an option for submitting a claim ticket. We attempted each contact avenue to ask questions about the CRM software and found each method of contact an excellent way to receive help and support regarding Prophet. Each representative that we spoke to was polite and was able to answer our questions and ensure that we were comfortable and confident with every aspect of their CRM system.
We were very impressed with the ease that Prophet CRM software provided in addition to the features and tools. As noted, the CRM system is built directly into Microsoft Outlook and provides users with a familiar template and navigation. It is an excellent CRM system though there are better choices available on today’s market.
